The role involves managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts to meet sales and margin objectives. The role is about working closely with clients to create value for both businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage key accounts within the patch identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
Develop and implement business strategies for mid-tier account
Drive sales for new products and oversee product management projects.
Produce weekly management reports and maintain regular customer communication.
Attend events and provide on-site customer support, including showroom management.
Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in sales and account management, with the ability to meet targets.
Strong commercial acumen, particularly within the agricultural or related sectors.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Outlook and Office, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
Willingness to travel extensively within your territory and stay away from home when necessary.
Patch: East Anglia and East Midlands. Ideal candidate location - Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire.
Salary is £35-50k (up to 40k for someone with industry experience but lacking sales experience, up to £50k for someone doing a similar role in the industry.) Role includes a car and up to 30% bonus. Competitive benefits package.
