​Marketing Assistant

We are working with a well-established and reputable business in the South Hams who are known for their diverse portfolio of clients and high levels of customer service. A vacancy has become available for a Marketing Assistant to join their team who has varied experience running digital and traditional campaigns. This role will offer you the opportunity to work closely with the MD as well as working autonomously and with external agencies/colleagues. We are looking for someone who is confident to manage their own workload and take responsibility for campaigns. This role would suit a junior marketer who is on the upward curve of their career and looking for the next step and further development opportunities.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

·        Collaborate on creating marketing strategies that align with business objectives that maintain brand reputation and help to grow the customer base.

·        Create and execute campaigns across Digital, Print and social media channels.

·        Write engaging copy to be used across a range of channels from website and social media to brochures and direct mail.

·        Maintain a strong brand presence across the business channels ensuring regular posts and updates.

·        Create campaigns and content that helps to drive traffic to the website and generates leads.

·        Ensure competitor activity is monitored to ensure the business stays ahead of trends and at the forefront of the industry for the area.

·        Help to support agencies with implementing PPC campaigns and SEO strategies.

·        Analyse campaign data, looking for opportunities for improvement and monitoring campaign performance. Create reports to be presented to the wider business.

·        Represent the brand and business at relevant shows and networking events.

What we are looking for:

·        Ideally 2-3 years previous experience in marketing role.

·        A good communicator with excellent attention to detail and strong writing skills.

·        A creative thinker who can work autonomously.

·        Experience n digital and traditional marketing techniques.

·        Ideally someone with PPC experience including Google Adwords.

·        A confident marketer who is comfortable managing campaigns and developing strategy.
