Our client is a small business known for its commitment to excellent customer service and long-term partnerships. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to manage and grow existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities and who has a consultative and customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide full services, ensuring that all customer needs are met and solutions are effectively delivered. You'll be their point of contact for anything they need.
Account Growth:
Manage and expand existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other teams within the business and closely with your customers.
Travel:
UK travel (midweek) required (2-4 nights per month).
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Proven track record in sales and relationship building from one of the industries mentioned with a willingness to learn about the others!
Technical Interest:
A strong interest or experience in electrical systems, physics, or a curiosity about how things work.
Customer-Centric Approach:
A passion for delivering excellent customer service and building long-term relationships. Happy to get on the phone as opposed to hiding behind emails and focused on adding value.
Compensation:
Salary:
£35-45k
A number of commission and bonus schemes,year one OTE = base + £10,000

A short working day on Fridays!
